PULMONARY HEMOTHORAX


 A pulmonary hemothorax is the accumulation of blood in the pleural cavity, the space between the lungs and the chest wall. It can be caused by trauma, surgical complications, or underlying disease processes such as malignancy. Managing a pulmonary hemothorax involves prompt diagnosis, stabilization of the patient, and addressing the underlying cause of bleeding.
